Casper Törneman
My name is Casper, I finished my bachelors degree in lighting design at Stockholm Academy of dramatic arts in the spring of 2019. At the moment I am freelancing and below you can read a little about me!
I work with lighting out of passion, I love seeing the piece come together to a whole near the end of the process. When all the different parts of the performance start telling the same story using different means, lighting, sound, dancing, set, costume, acting etc. The best performances are the ones where every element is in harmony with the rest, and tell the part of the story that suits that element the best.
Foremost I am a lighting designer, but I do some video design as well. I highly regard people with the ability to set their ego aside, and put whatever we are working on first. I strive to be that person, and to me that is what performing arts are about, putting your ego aside, realising that every part of a performance is equally important, be it acting, lighting, directing or ushering.
